Model Management & Offline Setup

Local models let HyperWhisper transcribe and post-process without an internet connection.

The speech models include: Whisper Models, Parakeet (by Nvidia).

The post-processing models include variants of Google’s Gemma 3.

Downloading Models

• Click Download on any entry. Progress appears as a circular indicator; cancel mid-stream with the × button if needed.

English-Only vs Multilingual Models

• Some models are optimized for English and load faster for that language.
